DESIGN TO ENERGY HEALING???

DOES IT RELATE?
I am grateful that I have always been the type of person who knows when it’s time for things to come to an end. As much as I try to dive into my head, rely on logic, and create the perfect timeline or rush things, it always seems to unfold just the way it’s meant to. I have learned, and will continue to learn, this lesson time and time again. Leaving my job of twelve years when I did was no different. I couldn't have predicted or planned it any other way than how it happened.
Taking a step back from the design world, which has been my entire career, felt, and I’ll be honest, still feels, terrifying.
While cleaning out my garage full of hundreds of samples, products, and presentations I had been using over the last decade, I was reminded once again of the deeper meaning and parallels to this work.
I was reminded of how much we, as humans, overcomplicate and overthink many things.
I remembered how, when I first started representing products, I felt paralyzed by indecision—unsure of which items to show, how much to bring, or how much time I would have. Over the years, I’ve noticed how much my presentations have changed and simplified. Of course, experience played a role in this evolution, but the years of doing energy work helped me see a drastic shift in how I approached my work and how it directly affected my goals. It wasn’t just about what I was packing; it was about the process of doing it, the productivity, and the confidence I embodied with each decision. What used to take me hours would take minutes.
Packing and shipping back all of my samples felt like the perfect metaphor for the stripping away that the Emotion Code work, can so effectively do. It’s the process of peeling back layers and discarding things that once served a purpose but are no longer needed. For example, you could have a trapped emotion of shock that, in the moment, helped you avoid overreacting to critical feedback—but it’s not something you need to carry with you anymore.
It made me reflect on what drew me to the design world all those years ago and kept me there. What did I love about the products? About the things I was showing and helping people with?
For me, yes, the products were—and still are—amazing, but it wasn’t the products themselves that lit me up. It was the simple act of identifying what someone truly needed, or didn’t need. Of seeing, of knowing.
Lightbulb moment! What if being a product representative was exactly what I needed to prepare me for what I’m stepping into now? What if it could be that simple? What if all I’m doing is taking the bare bones of what I’ve done for years and using it as a tool for expansion?
If you're a designer, think of a person’s emotions, mind, and spirit as a blank room—limitless possibilities, a blank finish palette. This represents our body’s energetic blueprint at its core. Life, generations, and experiences have filled it with an overwhelming stack of trapped emotions, energy, finishes, furniture, or clutter. Picture a room full of extra furniture, a closet that’s overflowing, or an office space with too many cubicles. If you’ve ever presented products to a client, think about a time when you had so many samples that the viewer became overwhelmed or paralyzed with indecision. You then narrow down what’s truly needed and what works for the space. Voila!
What I did for all those years as a product representative was essentially sift through thousands of products, pinpointing what was necessary, and eliminating what wasn’t to make the process easier for the person I was working with. What those designers did with those products was use them to craft the most effective and efficient use of space, creating an environment that worked for their project or client.
To me, utilizing the Emotion Code mirrors this process beautifully.
I’m completely fascinated by these techniques and how they help clear away the emotional clutter holding you back from designing a mental space that works most effectively.
Paralyzing indecision is just one of the areas that can be addressed. The body made up of 99% energy. What I’m interested in is helping release the trapped balls of energy or emotions preventing you from reaching your optimal environment—the most well-crafted, designed space you live in.
I start by asking you simple questions about your goals and obstacles, much like a designer would ask what samples you’re looking for or what your project entails. Rather than bring you more samples I can help you eliminate the things holding you back from finding exactly what you already know you need. I find often that when people came to me for samples they knew what they needed, what they were looking for was the simplicity of finding them. This can be a simple phone call or email. There’s no need to discuss painful memories at length, as this is a non-invasive alternative to talk therapy. During a session, we can release up to 10 trapped emotions to create better conditions for your body to heal, feel lighter, and carry less of a load. It’s about identifying the root cause of anxiety or indecision, for example, and releasing it. Rather than piling on more and more options for you, I can help you sift through it all, straight to your subcioncous and release them. Our bodies have an energetic blueprint that helps us heal, regain balance, and regenerate. Want to know more about how the process works?
